MEQUON –
Spencer Siddons (Andover, MN/Andover) posted a time of 26:45 on Saturday morning, good enough to finish third and lead the Pointer men's cross country team to a first place finish at the 2010 Falcon Invite at Concordia University.
The Pointers tallied 37 points at the meet, 29 points ahead of second place Ripon College.
Elsewhere, freshman
James Heroux (Sturgeon Bay, WI/Sevastopol) finished sixth, posting a time of 26:55 and fellow freshman
Dan Sullivan (Elkhorn, WI/Elkhorn) finished right behind him in seventh place with a time of 27:08. Sophomore
Brian Jensen (Kenosha, WI/Bradford) finished in eighth with a time of 27:13 and rounding out the top five,
Logan Seipel (Colfax, WI/Colfax) finished 13th with a time of 27:33.
Also running in the event Andrew Diederich finished 22nd with a time of 27:52 and
Tim Nitschke (Glendale/Nicolet) finished 26th with a time of 27:59.
The Pointers return to action next Friday, Sept. 24 at the Augustana Invitational in Rock Island, Ill.
