ASHWAUBENON – The Pointer men's hockey team saw their run for a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) tournament title fall short on Saturday evening, as UW-Stevens Point fell to the top-seeded and third-ranked Green Knights of St. Norbert College 7-1.

The Pointers season ends with a record of 12-15-1. St. Norbert advances to host UW-River Falls in the league's championship game next Saturday at Cornerstone Community Ice Arena.
