Pointers run to second place at Red Hawk Invite

Results

RIPON – The UW-Stevens Point men's cross country team collected four top-10 finishes on Saturday afternoon on their way to a second place finish at the 2010 Red Hawk Cross Country Invitational.

Michael Moore paced the Pointers with a time of 27:10, good for third. The remainder of the top-five unfolded as follows: Andrew Dieterich in 8th place overall with a time of 27:54, Logan Seipel in 9th with a time of 27:59, Timothy Nitschke in 10th with a time of 28:07 and Scott Berry finished 12th with a time of 28:58.

Also running for the Pointers at the event, Eric Carlson, who finished 13th with a time of 29:17 and Mitchell Isaacson finished 14th with a time of 29:35.

The full Pointers squad will return to action next weekend at the UW-Oshkosh Brooks Invitational.
