RIVER FALLS-The UW-Stevens Point ( 8-12, 1-3) volleyball team dropped three game to UW-River Falls ( 7-11, 3-1) this afternoon at the Karges Center. The Pointers lost by scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-18.

Christina Brinkman (Bristol) led the Pointer attack with 10 kills hitting .450. Kaitlin Wolfe (Roscoe, IL) contributed with eight assists. Lizzy Taylor (Eau Claire)also had eight digs for the Pointers.

The Falcons were led by Gina DeRosa who had 11 kills.

The Pointers return to action next Saturday, October 10 when they host a quadrangular with Waldorf, Finlandia, and Milliken.
