Nine of McHugh’s 12 hits this week went for extra bases, as the junior led 15th-ranked UW-Stevens Point to a 6-0 week. He had five home runs, four doubles, 15 RBI and nine runs scored over the six games. McHugh batted .462 (12-for-26) with a slugging percentage of 1.192 and an on-base percentage of .484 during the week. In Saturday’s doubleheader at UW-Stout, McHugh was a combined 7-for-10 with three home runs, three doubles, four runs and eight RBI. The junior has now driven in at least one run in 12 straight games and has 26 RBI over that span.
