Hess improved to 2-0 on the year with a convincing 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles in UWSP’s sweep at UW-Superior on Saturday. Her one point lost in set one of singles was the only point she didn’t win on Saturday as she also won her doubles match, 8-0.

Covek and Koepp earned their second win in as many weeks with an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles. The duo helped UWSP to a sweep of UW-Superior by also winning their singles matches.
Megan Lawrence, Softball
Lawrence collected a pair of hits in both games of Saturday’s doubleheader against Chicago to extend her hitting streak to seven games. In game one against the Maroons, she drove in three runs, including the game-tying run in the seventh to send the game into extra innings. In game two, she scored one of UWSP’s two runs. Lawrence also had a walk and a sac fly on the day.
