Senior defender Ashley Anders, (Fond du Lac, Wis./Fond du Lac), led a Pointer defense that recorded two conference shutouts this past week.  Against UW-La Crosse Anders and the Pointer defense allowed only one shot in the first half.  In the second half the defense shutdown the Eagles and didn’t allow any shots.  At UW-Superior, Anders anchored a defense that only allowed three shots and just one shot on goal.  With Anders directing the defense the Pointers have six shutouts and have only allowed one goal all season.
