Abdul-Wahid led the Pointers in scoring in a pair of wins last week for the Pointers. On Wednesday, he led the Pointers with 16 points, including the game-winning fade-away jumper with 0.5 seconds remaining, as UWSP handed UW-Platteville its first league loss. Then on Saturday, he racked up a season-high 29 points to lead all scorers as the Pointers earned a road win at UWRF. He averaged 22.5 points per game while shooting .630 from the field (17-27) with 10 rebounds, four blocks and a steal on the week.

Brett Humberstone (Hockey)
Humberstone had three points in UWSP’s three games last week. He had an assist in Friday’s game against UW-Stout. Then on Saturday, he scored a goal and assisted on the overtime winner in a 4-3 comeback win versus Stout as the Pointers erased a 3-goal deficit in the third period.

Gus Grimstad (Swimming & Diving)
Grimstad managed three wins on the day for the Pointers against UW-Lacrosse. He won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 52.75, the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 50.67 and the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:57.76. He also swam in the 200-yard medley relay which finished second with a time of 1:34.52.
 
Carson Trotzer (Wrestling)
Trotzer placed fourth in the 174 bracket at the Pete Willson Invitational last weekend. He picked up four wins on the weekend, three by fall. On Friday, he won his first three matches by fall in the first period in all three. He earned another win by decision on Saturday to place fourth.

Ian Lillquist (Track & Field)
Lillquist aided the Pointers efforts finishing third at the “Squig” Converse Invite. He contributed his best mark of the season in the triple with a distance of 14.06 meters (46' 1.50").

Mason Mead (Track & Field)
Mead earned top placement in two events in UWSP’s third-place performance at the “Squig” Converse Invite. He ran a leg in the 4x400-meter relay relay which took first with a time of 3:27.73 and took second in a closely contested 400-meter dash with a time of 50.38.

James Stadler (Swimming & Diving)
Stadler posted one of his best performances of the year against UW-La Crosse on Saturday. He with a first-place finish in the 1-meter dive with a score of 285.80 and a third-place finish in the 3-meter dive with a score of 254.85.
