Beaman had seven tackles, three for a loss, two sacks and a fumble recovery for UW-Stevens Point in a 30-27 loss at No. 12 UW-Platteville on Saturday. It was the second consecutive two-sack performance for the sophomore who previously had just 0.5 sacks prior to two weeks ago. Beaman’s first sack forced a Pioneers’ punt in the first quarter and his fumble recovery came at his own 12-yard line.
