STEVENS POINT, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point head men's wrestling coach Johnny Johnson has announced his team's 2026-27 schedule. The Pointers will host four events in three different venues inside Marshfield Clinic Champions Hall.

The 2026-27 season begins at home with the annual Pointer Open on Nov. 7. Action in the Skyward Fieldhouse begins at 9:00 a.m.
 
UWSP will jump right into conference play with a road dual at UW-Whitewater on Nov. 11. A busy November continues with a trip to the Millikin Open (Nov. 14), another road league dual at UW-Platteville (Nov. 18) and at the CUW Open (Nov. 21).
 
The Pointers will host Luther and UW-Oshkosh in Quandt Fieldhouse on Dec. 5 in the Pointer Duals. LU-UWO starts at noon with UWSP facing Luther at 1:30 and UWO at 3:00 p.m.
 
The final action of 2026 is at the UD Duals in Dubuque on Dec. 12. The Pointers head to Pennsylvania to kick off 2027 at the Budd Whitehill Duals on Jan. 8 and 9.
 
The first dual in Berg Gym is on Jan. 14 as the Pointers host UW-Eau Claire at 7:00 p.m. A week later, the home finale sees Carthage come to town for a men's and women's doubleheader in Berg.
 
The remainder of the slate sees the Pointers on the road with duals at Lakeland and UW-La Crosse as well as tournaments in Illinois, Oshkosh and Iowa leading up to the postseason.
 
The WIAC Championships will be held at UW-La Crosse on Feb. 13.  NCAA Regionals are in Eau Claire and the NCAA Championships are at La Crosse.
 
Last season, the Pointers were fourth at both the WIAC Championships and the NCAA Region VII. All-American Easton Hull (Waupun, Wis./Waupun), who placed seventh at 184, leads a quartet of UWSP wrestlers that went to nationals a season ago that are back in 2026-27.
