TEMPE, Ariz. – The UW-Stevens Point men's and women's tennis teams were awarded All-Academic Team honors by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), the organization announced recently. Additionally, nine women and eight members of the men's team picked up Scholar-Athlete recognition.

The UWSP women's team was one of 177 Division III programs recognized by ITA. The men were one of 147 Division III programs honored. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
 
In 2026, 1,309 Division III women's student-athletes and 1,151 men's tennis student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
 
UWSP's individual winners on the women's side were Ellie Aitken (Sterling, Ill./Sterling), Allie Brosteau (Suamico, Wis./Bay Port), Georgia Haddorff (West Bend, Wis./West), Tristin Jantz (Salem, Wis./Westosha Central), Hayley Jensen (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis./Lincoln), Morgan Milan (Greenfield, Wis./Whitnall), Chloe Regal (Stewartville, Minn./Stewartville), Brooklynn Steier (West De Pere, Wis./West De Pere) and Annie Wierzbicki (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago). For the men, Dawson Froemming (Cedarburg, Wis./Cedarburg), Anthony Janes (Bismarck, N.D./Legacy), Cooper Meyer (South St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul), Augie Nelson (Sleepy Hollow, Ill./Jacobs), Daniel Olson (Baraboo, Wis./Baraboo), Gianni Racanelli (Belvidere, Ill./Rockford Christian), Alexander Sedlacek (Green Bay, Wis./Bay Port) and Jacob Stinski (Oshkosh, Wis./West) received honors.
