GREENWOOD, Ind.—
Dawson Froemming (Cedarburg, Wis./Cedarburg) of the UW-Stevens Point men's tennis team was recognized as a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honoree, the organization announced Tuesday (May 12).

Froemming earned his first academic all-district nod. He played in 22 matches this season for the Pointers, earning an overall singles record of 5-19 and doubles record of 9-16.
Student athletes selected must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, be at least a sophomore and must be in the lineup for 75 percent of an institution's days of competition (regional competition such as ITAs and non-team scored events do not count).
