PLATTEVILLE, Wis.—The UW-Stevens Point men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up competition in the Platteville Invite on Saturday afternoon.

Aidan Court (Seymour, Wis./Seymour),
Jack Gjovik (Eagle River, Wis./Northland Pines),
Gavin Fujino (Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake) and the 4x400-meter relay team of
Mason Mead (Wausau, Wis./West), Kempe,
Matthew Jokela (Lake Linden, Mich./Lake Linden-Hubbell) and
Simeion Harris (Sandwich, Ill./Sandwich).
Their placed fifth in the hammer throw on Friday night with a toss of 52.60 meters. Kempe raced to a fourth-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.92. Garcia-Henrich took third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.62. Ukpong recorded a heave of 16.15 meters to take third in the shot put. Marsh finished fifth in the shot put with a mark of 45.88 meters. Court placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 6.46 meters. Gjovik secured a second-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 14.36 meters. Fujino took second in the pole vault with a mark of 4.76 meters. The 4x400-meter relay placed third with a time of 3:17.85.
The women saw top-five finishes from
Melanie Princl (West Bend, Wis./West),
Gracie Ridgway (Marshfield, Wis./Marshfield) and
Madeline Zirbel (De Pere, Wis./De Pere).
Princl raced to a fourth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.90. Ridgway took fourth in the long jump with a leap of 5.52 meters. Zirbel placed fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.58 meters.
The men's and women's track and field teams are back in action on Friday (Apr. 17) for day one of the Esten Challenge hosted by UW-La Crosse.
