INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The UW-Stevens Point men's track and field team had two field athletes, Nick Tuchscherer (Stevens Point, Wis./SPASH) and Jorden Ukpong (Kronenwetter, Wis./D.C. Everest), qualify for the upcoming NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala. on March 13-14.

Tuchscherer qualified for the long jump with a mark of 7.31 meters, which he earned at the Pointers' final home meet, the Big Dawg Invite, on February 7.
 
Ukpong earned his qualifying mark at the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier on March 7 with a 17.00-meter heave in the shot put.
 
Tuchscherer will compete on Friday (Mar. 13) at 10:00 a.m. and Ukpong will compete on Saturday (Mar. 14) at 2:00 p.m.
