CORALVILLE, Iowa – UW-Stevens Point women's wrestling senior Alexis Winecke (Baraboo, Wis./Baraboo) placed seventh at the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships on Saturday.

Already an All-American after Friday's results, Winecke dropped her opening bout on Saturday by tech fall against Madison Avila of North Central. In the seventh-place match, she finished her UWSP career with an 11-9 decision win over Mia Zuniga of Colorado Mesa.
 
Winecke finishes her senior year with a program-record 42 wins. Earlier this season, she became the first in program history with 100 career wins and she caps her career with 106 career wins.
