Alexis Winecke (Baraboo, Wis./Baraboo) is an All-American as she advanced to day two of the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships.

Winecke won her opening bout of the day in the 103 bracket with an 8-3 decision victory over Sloane Kruger of Presbyterian. In her next match, she lost by tech fall to top-seed Heather Crull of McKendree. She became an All-American by earning a tech fall win in the consolation bracket.
Kara Kuge (Theresa, Wis./Lomira) wrestled twice in the 180 bracket, falling in both bouts by tech fall.
Winecke will return to action at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (March 7) for day two of the NCAA Championships.
