STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The NCAA Championships committee officially selected UW-Stevens Point and the Region 5 host, the final piece to head coach
Jake Wozniak's women's wrestling schedule for 2026-27. Including the NCAA Regionals, the Pointers will compete at home six times this season.

The season starts at home on Nov. 7 as UWSP hosts the annual Pointer Open in Skyward Fieldhouse. Following a trip to the Millikin Invite the next weekend, the Pointers will host Wartburg in the first home dual of the year on Nov. 17.
The remainder of the calendar year is on the road with competitions in Michigan and Eau Claire in November. UWSP will compete in Kenosha and twice in Illinois in December culminating at Midlands on Dec. 30.
UWSP will host the Pointer Duals on Jan. 9. Following a trip back to Illinois, the Pointers will dual Carthage and UW-Oshkosh at home on Jan. 21 and Jan. 26.
The regular season concludes with trips to the Titan Invite and the Augustana DIII Tournament.
The Pointers will host the NCAA Region 5 Tournament on Feb. 20 and 21 in Quandt Fieldhouse. The regionals will feature athletes from 21 institutions in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota.
The NCAA Championships are back in Coralville, Iowa the first week of March to wrap up the NCAA season.
Kara Kuge (Theresa, Wis./Lomira) was one of two UWSP wrestlers to compete at last year's NCAA Championship.
Amelia Adams (La Crosse, Wis./Logan),
Kate Riege (Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead Union),
Briana Martinez (South St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul),
Margaret Gillmore (Bristol, Wis./Westosha Central),
Cera Philson (Thorp, Wis./Thorp) and
Cadie Percy (Windsor, Colo./Windsor), regional podiums finishers last year, are also back this season.
