MILWAUKEE, Wis.—The UW-Stevens Point men's and women's swimming and diving teams traveled to Milwaukee for a dual, where the men fell 108-160 and the women 86-170.

The men were led by

Wyatt Gross (Geneva, Ill./Geneva Community),
Mason Releford (Vacaville, Cal./Vacaville Christian),
Cole Brodin (Rochester, Minn./Century),
Grant Bergman (Waukesha, Wis./South)n and
Declan Trant (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove South).
Jenn took second in the 100-yard backstroke and butterfly with times of 53.61 and 54.66, respectively. Gross swam to a second-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke. Releford notched two second-place finishes in the 200-yard breaststroke and IM with times of 2:16.17 and 2:06.14, respectively.
Brodin took second place in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:10.24. Bergmann swam to a second-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:04.65. Trant recorded second-place finishes in the one- and three-meter dives with scores of 254.10 and 267.00, respectively.

Matthew Loy (Mazomanie, Wis./Wisconsin Heights) and
Gavin Schick (Greenfield, Wis./Greenfield) took second with a time of 1:28.61.
The women were led by
Maddy Magle (Sheboygan, Wis./Kohler),
Hannah Scherwinski (Kenosha, Wis.) and Margaret Severson.
Magle placed second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:04.40. Scherwinski swam to a second-place finish in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:24.74. Severson took second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:42.40.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of
Anna Scheglowski (Northfield, Minn./Northfield),
Hollyn Ambre (Batavia, Ill./Batavia),
Bailey Vincer (Byron, Ill./Byron) and
Chloe Nilles (Wausau, Wis./East) placed second with a time of 1:42.14.
The Pointers are back on the road tomorrow (Jan. 31) for the final dual of the season against UW-La Crosse, with diving beginning at 10:00 a.m. and swimming at 2:00 p.m.
