STEVENS POINT, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point women's basketball assistant coach
Eveline Parsons has accepted the head coaching role at UW-Superior, the school announced on Friday (June 13).

Parsons has been a member of the UWSP women's basketball staff the last three seasons. While here, she helped the program return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2015-16 season. The Pointers also returned to national prominence in the rankings receiving votes this season and reaching the top-25 a season ago after an 11-0 start.
In her three seasons at UWSP, the Pointers have had multiple all-conference picks each season. This year, Parsons helped to coach
Alexa Thomson (De Pere, Wis./West), the first WBCA All-America selection for the Pointers since 2016.
She came to UWSP from Tusculum University in Greeneville, Tennessee. There she served as assistant women's basketball coach and head junior varsity coach for the 2021-22 season after being a graduate assistant coach in 2020-21.
On the court, Parsons was a four-year player and a senior captain at Berry College in Mt. Berry, Georgia. She earned All-SAA honorable mention laurels in 2017 and again in 2020.
Parsons will be the ninth head coach in Yellowjackets' history. She begins her duties at UW-Superior on Monday (June 16).
