GREENWOOD, Ind. – The UW-Stevens Point men's tennis team had one athlete, Steven Benoy (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton), earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team as announced on Tuesday (May 13).

Benoy earned his second-straight CSC Academic All-District nod. He has also been named an ITA Scholar Athlete award in 2022, 2023 and 2024 as well as the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll in the 2023-24 school year.
 
This season, he posted a 13-10 record at number one singles and 8-15 overall record in doubles competitions. On May 7, Benoy received All WIAC first-team singles - west division honors, WIAC All-Sportsmanship team and the Max Sparger Scholar-Athlete Award.
 
Twice this year, he was the WIAC Kwik Trip Singles Athlete of the Week - West Division.
