ATLANTA, Ga. – UW-Stevens Point women's basketball senior Alexa Thomson (De Pere, Wis./West) was selected to participate as a member of the 2025 Women's Collegiate All-Star Team presented by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, the organization announced on Monday (March 17).

This season, Thomson led the Pointers to the first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2015-16. She was a first-team All-WIAC selection and the third-highest scorer in the conference at 17.1 points per game.
 
She became the 22nd player in school history to score 1,000 points on Jan. 29. She finished her UWSP career with 1,161 points, the 12th-most in program history.
 
Thomson is one of 20 all-stars that were chosen by a committee composed of head women's basketball coaches of NCAA Division III programs, all of whom are members of the WBCA. All players were nominated by WBCA member coaches.
 
She will participate in the 2025 Women's Collegiate All-Star Game presented by the WBCA at 1:00 p.m. ET on Saturday (March 22).
