STEVENS POINT, Wis.—The UW-Stevens Point swimming and diving teams finished the Point Invite with seven event wins on Saturday. The men finished in second place with a score of 925. The women finished in third place with a score of 610.

The UWSP men were led by first-place finishes from
Camden Barwick (Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest),
Will Nicol (Green Bay, Wis./Bay Port),
Declan Trant (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove South) and
Ryan Trantham (Mackinaw, Ill./Deer Creek Mackinaw).
Barwick won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.11. He was also a part of the 400-yard freestyle relay that took first, along with
Peter McMahon (Whitefish Bay, Wis./Whitefish Bay),
Matthew Loy (Mazomanie, Wis./Wisconsin Heights) and
Kody Hellenbrand (Madison, Wis./East), with a time of 3:08.93.
Nicol took the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:58.54.
Trant rounded out the diving portion of the Point Invite with a final score of 486.95 in the three-meter dive.
Trantham won the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:17.09.
The UWSP women were led by
Hollyn Ambre (Batavia, Ill./Batavia) and
Rose Hansen (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids).
Ambre won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:01.02.
Hansen won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.91.
The UWSP swimming and diving teams are back in action Friday (Jan. 31) for a home dual against Milwaukee, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
