STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The No. 15 UW-Stevens Point women's wrestling team had little trouble beating visiting Carthage in a dual on Thursday, 39-9.
 
Brooke Schuenemann (Plymouth, Wis./Plymouth Comprehensive) got a win by fall at 138 in a time of 59 seconds. Cadie Percy (Windsor, Colo./Windsor) followed with a 10-2 decision win at 145. Taylor Schulz (Rice Lake, Wis./Rice Lake) finished out the actual wrestling with a fall in just 53 seconds at 160.
 
The Pointers got forfeit wins at 110 (Alaina Sunlin (Monticello, Iowa/Monticello)), 124 (Margaret Gillmore (Bristol, Wis./Westosha Central)), 131 (Makenna Hanke (Theresa, Wis.)), 180 (Kaylei Sanford (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek)) and 207 (Kate Riege (Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead Union)).
 
The Pointers are back in action on Friday (Jan. 24) with a 7:00 p.m. home dual against UW-Oshkosh.
