DULUTH, Minn. – The UW-Stevens Point men's soccer team (4-2-3) fell at St. Scholastica (2-6-1) on Monday by a 2-1 final.
The host Saints cracked the scoreboard in the 28th minute. CSS doubled the lead in the 30th minute.
Arun Krishna (Skokie, Ill./Niles West) scored his first collegiate goal in the 72nd minute to cut the UWSP deficit in half.
Carson Fitzgerald (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) picked up the assist on the goal.
The Pointers tested CSS goalkeeper Ben Hallberg twice more to no avail as the comeback attempt came up short.
