KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UW-Stevens Point women's soccer team earned Team Academic Award honors for the 10th-straight year from United Soccer Coaches, the organization announced last week.

UWSP was one of 258 women's teams across all collegiate divisions to earn the award. In order to receive the honor, a team must have had a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the 2023-24 academic year.  The Pointers posted a team GPA of 3.42 for the 2023-24 academic year.
 
In addition to earning the award for the 10th-straight year, UWSP has claimed the accolade 18 times since the inception of the award (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024).
