KENOSHA, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's tennis team picked up a split on Saturday. The Pointers defeated Elmhurst, 9-0, before falling to host Carthage, 8-1.
Steven Benoy (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) won both of his No. 1 singles matches on the day. He cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win versus EC. Against CC, Benoy won, 7-5, 6-3.
Logan Eithun (Milton, Wis./Milton) also won by a 6-0, 6-0 score at No. 5 singles against the Bluejays.
Conner Kryscio (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) was victorious at No. 2 singles by a 6-1, 6-1 final against EC.
Josh Zaborski (Cudahy, Wis./Cudahy) won 6-2, 6-1 and
Hayden Schreier (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) took a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4 and No. 3 singles, respectively, versus Elmhurst.

Frederick Diehl (Minneapolis, Minn./Academy of Holy Angles) won at No. 1 doubles, 8-2.
Samuel Zapata (Envigado, Col./Colegio Colombo Britanico) and
Dan Harris (Eau Claire, Wis./Altoona) also earned an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles against the Bluejays.
The Pointers close out the regular season at Concordia (Wis.) on Saturday (April 20). Action is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. in Mequon.
