CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The UW-Stevens Point women's wrestling team finished action at the NCWWC Championships on Saturday taking 10th in the 49-team field.

Ngao Shoua Whitethorn (River Falls, Wis./Apple Valley) placed sixth in the 130 bracket with a win by tech fall, 12-2, in her first match. In the fifth-place match, she came up short in a 7-3 decision.
 
Abby Nelson (Iron River, Wis./Northwestern) finished eighth in the 116 bracket. She lost twice on Saturday, both by fall.
 
The Pointers send eight athletes to the NCWWC Championships this weekend to end the 2023-24 season.
