Braedon Gilles (Middleton, Wis./Middleton) wrapped up action at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday afternoon with a top finish in his event.

After qualifying for the finals in the 800-meter run yesterday by lacing in the top two in his heat, Gilles worked his way to a sixth-place finish earning All-America honors on the final day of the NCAA Championships.

His time of 1:52.72 was milliseconds behind the fifth-place finisher after dropping to sixth in the final stretch. Gilles racked up UWSP's second and final All-America nod for the indoor season.

The Pointers return to action on Friday (Mar. 29) to begin the outdoor season at the Washington University Distance Carnival.
