LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The UW-Stevens Point men's tennis team fell at Lake Forest on Saturday, 9-0.
Luca Hettstedt (Marbella, Spain/German School Marbella) won six games at No. 4 singles, falling by a 6-4, 6-2 score.
Conner Kryscio (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) won two games in each set at No. 3 singles.
Frederick Diehl (Minneapolis, Minn./Academy of Holy Angles) fell by a 6-3, 6-1 score at No. 2 singles.
In doubles play, Stevens Benoy and Diehl fell at No. 1, 8-4.
Dan Harris (Eau Claire, Wis./Altoona) and
Samuel Zapata (Envigado, Col./Colegio Colombo Britanico) also fell, 8-4, at No. 3. Hettstedt and
Hayden Schreier (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) dropped the No., 2 doubles match, 8-3.
The Pointers will host Lawrence on March 14 at SentryWorld, First serve is slated for 10:00 a.m.
