WHEATON, Ill.—The UW-Stevens Point women's swimming and diving team won the Wheaton Invitational. The UWSP women took the Wheaton Invitational with a score of 752. The UWSP men finished second at the Wheaton Invitational with a score of 757.
 
Results
 
The Pointer women were led by Rose Hansen (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids) and Gracyn Schmitz (Elk River, Minn./Elk River). Hansen won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.11. Schmitz took the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 18:40.46, followed by Hannah Scherwinski (Kenosha, Wis.) with a time of 18:42.23.
 
The Pointer men were led by Wyatt Gross (Geneva, Ill./Geneva Community) and Scott Jenn (Madison, Wis./Memorial). Gross won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:06.95. Jenn took the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 51.68.
 
The UWSP swimming and diving teams are back in action on Jan. 16 to take on UW-Oshkosh in a conference dual. Action starts at 5:00 p.m. in Oshkosh.
