NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The UW-Stevens Point women's wrestling team competed at Sunday's North Central College Open. The Pointers placed 20^th out of 41 teams.

In the 110 bracket, Alaina Sunlin (Monticello, Iowa/Monticello) won three times, twice via tech fall and once by fall. Alexis Winecke (Baraboo, Wis./Baraboo) got a pair of win, one each by tech fall and decision. Savanna Millermon (Wilson, Wis./Glenwood City) also earned two wins, one by tech fall and one by fall.
 
Cera Philson (Thorp, Wis./Thorp) got three wins in the 131A bracket. She had one win by tech falls and two by fall. Metadel Edwards (Two Rivers, Wis./Two Rivers) had a win by tech fall in the 131B bracket.
 
Abbey Boersma (Minooka, Ill./Minooka) had two wins by fall in the 160B bracket. Taylor Schulz (Rice Lake, Wis./Rice Lake) got two wins, one by injury default and one by fall in the bracket. Maddie Hall (Holmen, Wis./Holmen) had one win by fall in the bracket.
 
Jade Herzer (Wisconsin Dells, Wis./Wisconsin Dells) won twice in the 207 bracket. She earned one win by fall and one by decision.
 
Kara Kuge (Theresa, Wis./Lomira) had one win by fall in the 160A bracket. Lynnia Doss (Beachwood, Ohio/Beachwood) earned on win by decision in the 145B bracket.
 
The Pointers will compete next at Midlands on December 30 in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
