STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's wrestling team had a lot of success at the Pointer Open on Saturday. No team scores were kept.

Ngao Shoua Whitethorn (River Falls, Wis./Apple Valley) placed second in the 131 bracket. She had two wins by fall and one win by tech fall. Shaina Hyre (Lawrenceville, Ill./Lawrenceville) was sixth in the bracket with a win each by fall and by decision.
 
Rose Ann Marshall (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) won the consolation bracket at 117 with four wins, all by tech fall.
 
Jade Herzer (Wisconsin Dells, Wis./Wisconsin Dells) finished fourth at 207. She earned a win by tech fall and a win by fall. Alexis Winecke (Baraboo, Wis./Baraboo) got fourth in the 110 bracket three wins on the day.
 
Amelia Adams (La Crosse, Wis./Logan) was fifth and Margaret Gillmore (Bristol, Wis./Westosha Central) took sixth in the 124 bracket. Adams had three wins in the bracket while Gillmore had three.
 
Alaina Sunlin (Monticello, Iowa/Monticello) took sixth in the 110 bracket. She had two wins by tech fall.
 
Cera Philson (Thorp, Wis./Thorp) garnered four wins on the day in the 131 bracket. She won twice by fall and twice by tech fall.
 
Brooke Schuenemann (Plymouth, Wis./Plymouth Comprehensive) had two wins by fall in the 138 bracket. Metadel Edwards (Two Rivers, Wis./Two Rivers) also got two wins by fall on the day in the 131 bracket.
 
Kara Kuge (Theresa, Wis./Lomira) had a pair of wins by tech fall in the 160 bracket. Amor Tuttle (North St. Paul, Minn./Stillwater Area Senior) got two wins by tech fall in the 145 bracket.
 
Teagan McKinnie (Buckeye, Ariz./Verrado) won by fall in her first collegiate match at 207. Taylor Schulz (Rice Lake, Wis./Rice Lake) pinned an opponent in the 170 bracket. Cadie Percy earned a win by fall in the 138 bracket. Makenna Hanke (Theresa, Wis.) got a win by fall at 131. Angelica Torres Lima (Oaxaca, Mexico/Maine East) had a win by fall at 124.
 
Madi Zube (Viroqua, Wis./Viroqua) had a win by tech fall in the 180 bracket. Kelly Enriquez (Waukesha, Wis./South) had a win by tech fall at 103. Savanna Millermon (Wilson, Wis./Glenwood City) got a 13-11 decision win in her debut at 110.
 
UWSP will be in action on Saturday (Nov. 9) at the Luther Open beginning at 9:00 a.m.
