DUBUQUE, Iowa – The UW-Stevens Point men's soccer team (8-3-3) was shut out for just the second time this season in a 3-0 loss at Loras (6-3-5) on Tuesday night.
The host Duhawks got on the board in the 11th minute. Loras doubled the UWSP deficit in the 18th minute and held a 2-0 lead at the break.
In the 87th minute, Loras made it a 3-0 score, the eventual final.
Riley Nycz (De Pere, Wis./De Pere) had two of UWSP's three shots on goal in the match.
Jack Hudson (Delafield, Wis./Arrowhead) had the other.

Jacob Havlik (Onalaska, WIs./Onalaska) made six saves. Loras goalkeepers Kyle Gillingham and Ben Krogman split duties combining for three saves.
The Pointers return home to face UW-River Falls in conference play on Saturday (Oct. 12) beginning at 3:00 p.m.
