STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The winter storm in the Midwest has forced a number of changes to the UW-Stevens Point athletics weekend slate.
 
Both swimming and diving meets that were scheduled have been canceled. The Pointers were scheduled to face UW-Oshkosh on Friday and Northern Michigan on Saturday and neither will be rescheduled.
 
The Al Hanke Invitational that the men's wrestling team was scheduled to compete in was also canceled.
 
The women's wrestling team will not travel to the Lakeland Scramble slated for Saturday as a number of teams had already canceled.
 
Finally, the UWSP Track and Field Alumni Meet scheduled for Saturday had been pushed back to a 1:00 p.m. start. Field events will begin at 1:00 p.m. with running events starting at 1:30.
 
The UWSP men's and women's hockey games scheduled for Friday and Saturday are still happening as are the men's and women's basketball games on Saturday.
