GRAND VIEW, Iowa – The UW-Stevens Point women's wrestling team placed four athletes at the Grand View Open on Saturday.

Shaina Hyre (Lawrenceville, Ill./Lawrenceville) placed second at Silver 109. She won three times by tech fall to reach the finals in the bracket.
 
Jade Herzer (Wisconsin Dells, Wis./Wisconsin Dells) took third in the Gold 155 bracket. She won twice in the championship bracket. Then in the consolation bracket, she won a 7-0 decision and then a 5-3 decision in the third-place match.
 
Angelica Torres Lima (Des Plaines, Ill./Maine East) won five times in the Silver 116 bracket. She won twice by tech fall, two times by decision and once by pinning her opponent. Morgan Bethea (Neillsville, Wis./Neillsville) won three times in the bracket with two tech fall victories and one win by decision.
 
Anna Strand (Appleton, Wis./Xavier) placed sixth in the Silver 143 bracket. She won five times on the day with three victories coming by fall in the consolation bracket.
 
Abby Nelson (Iron River, Wis./Northwestern) won twice in the consolation bracket at Gold 123. She earned an 8-0 decision and then pinned her foe in just 26 seconds.
 
Tabitha Breitrick (Clintonville, Wis./Clintonville) earned a decision win, 11-8, in the consolation bracket at Gold 170. Addison Young (New London, Wis./New London) won her first match in the Silver 136 bracket by a 13-0 tech fall.
 
The Pointers will host Augsburg in dual action on Thursday (Feb. 9). Action is set to begin at 8:00 p.m. in Quandt Fieldhouse.
