STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's wrestling team rolled to a 44-5 victory over visiting Carthage in the first home dual of the season.
 
Kelly Enriquez (Waukesha, Wis./South) and Shaina Hyre (Lawrenceville, Ill./Lawrenceville) earned wins by forfeit at 101 and 109, respectively.
 
Rose Ann Marshall (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) won by tech fall at 116 with a 12-0 victory in just 1:47.
 
It took Abby Nelson (Iron River, Wis./Northwestern) even less time to win by fall at 123, pinning her foe at 0:38. Amor Tuttle (North St. Paul, Minn./Stillwater Area Senior) needed just over a minute to earn a tech fall win, 12-0, at 130.
 
Anna Strand (Appleton, Wis./Xavier) rounded out the action on the mat with a fall at 1:40 at 143.
 
Jade Herzer (Wisconsin Dells, Wis./Wisconsin Dells), Tabitha Breitrick (Clintonville, Wis./Clintonville) and Taylor Schulz (Rice Lake, Wis./Rice Lake) won by forfeit at 155, 170 and 191, respectively.
 
The Pointers return to action on Tuesday (Jan. 24) with a 6:00 p.m. dual at North Central.
