WHITEWATER, Wis.- The UW-Stevens Point track and field teams traveled to Whitewater on Sunday for the Rex Foster Invite hosted by UW-Whitewater. UWSP's men took third while the women were fourth out of 10 teams.
 
Results
 
UWSP's men's 4-x400-meter relay squad of Tyler Vincetich (Beloit, Wis./Janesville Parker), Evan Torgerson (Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest), Noah Rosas (Franklin, Wis./Franklin) and Tyler Santi (Kenosha, Wis./Tremper) won with a time of 3:29.87.
 
Kaedon Welte (Byron, Ill./Byron) picked up a second-place finish in the javelin throw with a distance of 50.01 meters (164' 1").
 
Cade Ravenscroft (Wisconsin Dells, Wis./Wisconsin Dells) competed in the high jump and picked up a second-place finish.  He leaped to a height of 1.90 meters (6' 2.75"). Ravenscroft also competed in the long jump picking up a fourth-place finish with a distance of 6.51 meters 21' 4.25"). 
 
Blake Orr (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) earned a second-place finish in the discus throw with a distance of 45.60 meters (149' 7").  Orr also earned a third-place finish with a distance of 52.74 meters (173' 0") in the hammer throw.    
 
Nick Chesterman (Sun Prairie, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) hurdled to a fourth-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles finishing with a time of 15.86.
 
For the women, Brilyn Brecka (Alma, Wis./Alma) threw a distance of 41.91 meters (137' 6") in the discus throw, which earned her a second-place finish.  Brecka finished in third place with a distance of 42.36 meters (139' 0"), in the hammer throw. 
 
Leyna Herzog (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) finished in third with a time of 12.45 in the 100-meter dash. She also took third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.84.
 
Chrissy Hughes (Milton, Wis./Milton) picked up a fourth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.59.
 
In the 400-meter dash, Anetha Vogele (Necedah, Wis./Necedah) led the Pointers finishing in fourth place with a time of 1:01.82. 
 
The Pointers head to Platteville for the UW-Platteville Invite on Thursday (April 14).
