Ryan Konitzer announced his team's schedule for 2021, which begins this Friday. The Pointers' 2021 slate features five home dates.

The season kicks off on Friday with a doubleheader against Marian at the Hodag Dome in Rhinelander. UWSP will play eight non-conference doubleheaders before the conference opener on April 8.
Consecutive weeks with trips to Peoria, Ill., will see the Pointers play games against Wisconsin Lutheran, Concordia University Chicago, St. Scholastica and Dubuque. Other non-conference matchups pit UWSP against Hamline in Minnesota on March 12 and Chicago in Madison on March 20.
Later in March, the Pointers travel to Carroll for a twin bill on March 25. The Pointers' home opener is set for March 27 versus Mount Mary at 1:00 p.m. A trip to Lakeland the next day precedes a 10-day floating break before league play.
The Pointers open WIAC play at home on April 8 versus UW-Whitewater. A trip to UW-Platteville is sandwiched between home matchups before the Pointers take on UW-Oshkosh on April 13 at home.
UWSP will then play at UW-La Crosse on April 17 and a non-conference doubleheader at UW-Whitewater on April 21 before returning home.
The Pointers' final homestand features a pair of game against UW-Eau Claire on April 24 and a non-conference twin bill versus UW-Platteville on April 27. The final three doubleheaders are slated on the road at UW-River Falls, UW-Oshkosh (non-conference) and UW-Stout.
All teams will qualify for the WIAC Tournament which begins on May 11.
The Pointers return 14 players from last season's team which went 8-4.
Lauren Luedtke (Lomira, Wis./Lomira), the 2019 WIAC Position Player of the Year, and
Maddie Candre (St. Charles, Ill./East), an All-WIAC selection in 2019, return for the Pointers under fourth-year coach Konitzer.
