MEQUON, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team sent just seven athletes tot eh CUW Open on Saturday.

Ben Kasten (Reedsville, Wis./Brillion) placed fourth in the 174 bracket.  He won three matches, including two by fall, in the championship bracket.  In the consolation bracket, he won a 9-0 major decision.
 
In the 165 bracket, Josh Heuss (Antigo, Wis./Antigo) opened the day with a fall at 1:08.  Alex Mischka (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly) earned a third-period fall in the 197 bracket.
 
Matt Feia (Hudson, Wis./Hudson) picked up a decision win in the consolation bracket at 141.
 
Bryce Status (149), Kyle Smith (Madison, Wis./LaFollette) (157) and Mason Wheeler (Germantown, Wis./Germantown) (165) all went 0-2 in their respective brackets.
 
UWSP returns home to host UW-Platteville on Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m.
