EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team fell to UW-Eau Claire in conference action on Friday, 25-17.
 
Matt Berlin (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) evened the dual  with a forfeit victory at 133.  Brandon Peckham (Plainfield, Wis./Tri-County) won a 5-3 decision at 157 to get UWSP back on the board.
 
At 197, Jerry Lipke (Milton, Wis./Milton) won an 8-4 decision.  Noah Wieczorek (Clear Lake, Wis./Clear Lake) pinned his opponent at the 5:49 mark at 285 to make the final score close.
 
The Pointers return to action on Jan. 10 at the Budd Whitehill Duals in Williamsport, Pa.
