LA CROSSE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point wrestling team fell to UW-La Crosse in the final conference dual of the season, 34-9.

Ben Vosters (Hatley, Wis./Wittenberg-Birnamwood) got the Pointers on the board with an 8-3 decision win at 133.  He improved to 21-2 on the season with the victory.
 
Austin Stebane (Brillion, Wis./Brillion) earned a 6-5 decision win at 184.  He had a third period takedown to pick up the victory.
 
Jerry Lipke (Milton, Wis./Milton) rounded out the UWSP scoring with a 5-3 sudden victory decision at 197.  He won with a takedown in overtime.
 
The Pointers travel to Eau Claire on Saturday (Feb. 2) for the Don Parker Open.  Action begins at 10:00 a.m. in the final meet before the WIAC Championships (presented by Culver's) next Friday (Feb. 8).
