STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point wrestling team fell to visiting UW-Parkside in dual action at Berg Gym on Thursday by a 43-0 score.
 
Jordan Weinzetl (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly) fared the best for the Pointers at 165.  He took Shane Gantz to overtime before coming up short in a 7-5 decision.
 
Matt Berlin (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) battled No. 10 ranked Airk Furseth at 133 to a 6-2 decision.  Zane Strubler (St. Paris, Ohio/Miami East) also went the distance at 141 in a 10-4 decision.  At 157, Brandon Peckham (Plainfield, Wis./Tri-County) fell by a 3-0 decision. 
 
The Pointers face Concordia (Wis.) on Monday (Jan. 21) in the final home dual of the season.  Action at Berg Gym is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
