Braun, a four-year member of the UWSP swimming and diving team, was named the Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete by the WIAC earlier this year.  She earned WIAC Diver of the Week honors four times during the 2017-18 season and seven times in her UWSP career.  She earned All-WIAC second team honors in 2017 and is the school record holder in both the one-meter and three-meter diving events.

Herr played four seasons on the UWSP women's soccer team.  She was named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship team in 2016.  She scored two goals and had an assist before moving to the back line in her junior season.  Herr played in 67 career matches with 50 starts in her final three seasons.

Taylor was a four-year member of the Pointers football team from 2013 to 2016.  He played in 37 games and caught 15 career touchdown passes.  In 2016, he was named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship team and capped his career with three touchdown receptions on Senior Day.

With this award, the University annually honors those graduating students who have exemplified outstanding qualities as a leader, a scholar, and as a citizen on campus and in his/her community. All three criteria are given equal weight. The Albertson Award is given to no more than 1% of those graduating each year.
