MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The UW-Stevens Point wrestling team fell at No. 2 Augsburg in dual action on Friday by a score of 33-15 in the final tune-up before the Upper Midwest Regional next week.
 
Ben Vosters (Hatley, Wis./Wittenberg-Birnamwood) got the Pointers on the board early with a 3-2 decision over No. 10 Victor Gliva.  The victory was Vosters' 24th of the year.
 
At 184, Dan Squires (Muskego, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) pinned No. 8 Sebastian Larson in the third period.  The fall at 5:11 was his 29th win on the season.
 
Ross Agg (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) capped the night with a first-period fall at 285.
 
UWSP returns to Minneapolis next Friday and Saturday for the Upper Midwest Regional hosted by Augsburg.
