STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point wrestling got major decisions from four of its wrestlers and defeated visiting UW-Eau Claire by a 22-20 score on Wednesday.
Ben Vosters (Hatley, Wis./Wittenberg-Birnamwood) began the dual with a 10-0 major decision at 133 as UWSP began a rally from an early 6-0 hole.
Luke Smiley (Plainfield, Ill./North) got the Pointers back on the board with another major decision, 11-2, at 157, sparking a run by UWSP.

Jordan Weinzetl (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly) earned a major decision win by a 15-2 score.
James Borgen (Amherst, Wis./Amherst) notched the fourth major decision for UWSP with a 17-5 victory at 174.
Zack Moon (Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley) kept the streak of UWSP wins going with a pair of third period takedowns at 184 to rally for a 9-8 decision.
Jerry Lipke (Milton, Wis./Milton) sealed the win with a 7-3 decision at 197.
UWSP heads to Dubuque, Iowa, on Saturday (Dec. 15) for the UD Duals. Action begins at 1:00 p.m. with the Pointers taking on Wheaton, followed by host Dubuque and closing out the day against MSOE.
