GENEVA, Ohio – The UW-Stevens Point track and field team completed its outdoor season with a 15th-place team finish for the men at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. A trio of seniors competed on the final day for UWSP.
Final Results
Jerry Williams (Watertown, WI/Watertown) ended his career with his fourth-straight All-American accolade in the outdoor triple jump. He reached a distance of 14.74 meters (48' 4.50") for a third-place finish, his highest placement in his career.
Jesse Johnson (Stevens Point, Wis./SPASH) earned his first career All-American honor with a sixth-place finish in the pole vault with a successful height of 4.90 meters (16' 0.75").
Logan Heil (Weston, WI/DC Everest) completed his career with a ninth-place finish in the hammer throw. He narrowly missed All-American status with a throw of 55.63 meters (182' 6"), less than a half meter behind eighth.
