OSHKOSH, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's indoor track & field team collected 80 team points to finish fifth at the 2016 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Indoor Championship (presented by Culvers).

Day One RecapHolly Winberg (Forest Lake, MN/Forest Lake) took home the 3,000-meter title, posting a time of 10:18.92.
Kathy Derks (Greenville, WI/Hortonville) finished third in the 800-meter run, posting a time of 2:15.35.
Jacklyn Butler (Oshkosh, WI/West) finishes sixth in the 60-meter hurdles, posting a time of 9.22 seconds in the finals.
The 4x400-meter relay team of
Leah Trempe (Combined Locks, WI/Kimberly),
Autumn Nelson (Superior, WI/Superior),
Hannah Mertens (West Bend, WI/Hartford Union) and Derks finished fourth in a time of 3:56.06.
Abigail Clement finished seventh in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.87 after qualifying for the finals on day one with an identical mark. Clement also finished fourth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 25.91.
Isabella Weekly (Plainfield, WI/Tri County) finished fourth in the pentathlon, collecting 3,044 points. Weekly posted the top height in the high jump (1.63 meters | 5' 4.25") was runner-up in the long jump (5.29 meters | 17' 4.25") and third in the shot put (9.19 meters | 30' 2").
Kadie Flynn (Appleton, WI/North) finished sixth in the weight throw with a toss of 16.79 meters (55' 1").
Shannon Burke (Sussex, WI/Hamilton), who took home the event's pole vault champion on day one, was named the Pointers representative on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
