FROM COACH SUOMI"We played on two new golfing venues for us: Whispering Springs Country Club and Rolling Meadows Golf Course, which are two very difficult courses. Tiffany, who has been working through some shoulder issues that have limited her practice time this fall, improved by 10 strokes on the second day at Rolling Meadows (82 tied for the best round of the day) to tie for third place.
Jackie Halverson (West Bend, WI/West Bend West), a freshmen in her second collegiate competition, shot a personal best tournament total of 185 (96-89) to take 10th place. Team-wise four of our five players recorded better scores on the second day of competition."
UP NEXTThe Pointers have a week off before returning to action at the UW-Whitewater Fall Classic in Delavan, Wis. at the Delbrook Golf Course.
