Coach's Take:

"The 2015 Mad Dawg Invite was an outstanding success in regards to how this event was run," said head coach Rory Sumoi. "I am very appreciative to the Stevens Point Country Club Staff, especially Head PGA pro Joe Hatch, and the athletic department's sports information staff at UWSP. Coaches from the invite were unanimous in their opinion that this invite is one of the best golf invitationals that they compete in each year. Two of the brighter notes for our team were how captain Tiffany Boak (Woodridge, IL/Downers Grove South ) finished her last nine holes on day two and the overall play of freshmen Jacqueline Halverson. This team is a very young team (2 freshmen, 2 sophomores and 1 junior) which has the potential to play much better than it has to date. Hopefully for conference this upcoming weekend, if they can play with more confidence and focus we can attain a team score more indicative of our ability."

Up Next:
