STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Four members of the UW-Stevens Point women's outdoor track and field team qualified for the 2014 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, as the qualifying field was announced by the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee on Sunday.

Samantha Haas (Waupun, WI/Waupun), Shannon Burke (Sussex, WI/Hamilton) and Audra Weis (Burlington, WI/Burlington) each qualified in the pole vault. Haas is seeded 12th (3.73m), Burke is 20th (3.68m) and Weis is 21st (3.67m). Haas and Burke finished one-two in the WIAC Outdoor Championships in the event.
 
Kadie Flynn (Appleton, WI/North) qualified in both the discus throw and the hammer throw. She is seeded 21st in the discus (43.44m) and 15th in the hammer throw (51.79m).
 
For each individual event contested, the top 22 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition.
 
The outdoor national championships begin on Thursday, May 22 and run through Saturday, May 24 in Delaware, Ohio.
